Forschung
Das Hauptinteresse meiner Forschung gilt der Rolle, die Pflanzen im täglichen Leben von Menschen spielen. Insbesondere fasziniert mich die Nutzung und Verarbeitung von Wildpflanzen.
Chronologisch sind der Archäobotanik keine Grenzen gesetzt. Alle Epochen, in denen Menschen Pflanzen genutzt haben (also alle), sind Gegenstand des Fachs und meiner Arbeit.
Im Rahmen meiner Dissertation untersuche ich Proben aus bronzezeitlichen, also etwa 4000 Jahre alten, Siedlungskontexten in der Steppenzone des Transurals in Russland.
